'Jersey Shore' Live Special For Hurricane Sandy Relief To Air On MTV

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the "Jersey Shore" cast is doing everything in its power to provide relief for Seaside Heights.

According to EW, the cast is reuniting to host the one-hour live special "Restore The Shore" on MTV to aid Hurricane Sandy victims.

MTV is teaming up with the non-profit organization "Architecture For Humanity," a relief program that helps redesign and rebuild areas impacted by natural disasters.

This isn't the first time the "Jersey Shore" cast has pitched in for hurricane relief. After finding out how destructive Sandy had been to the place they called home, Seaside Heights, the cast immediately encouraged viewers to donate to Seaside Heights' Hurricane recovery.

“We are beyond saddened that so many families are now homeless. The boardwalk, the beaches, the rides and so many places that we see every week on TV are now ruined,” cast member Vinny Guadagnino said in a statement before asking for donations. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was affected by this tragedy. We love you, Seaside!”

"Restore The Shore" will air on Thurs., Nov. 15 from MTV's Times Square studio.
