Z Burger Offeres Free Election Day Burgers To Voters

Posted: Updated:

WASHINGTON -- While there's no shortage of Election Day specials, not many restaurants are offering free grub. Z-Burger, which has a track record of special offers, gimmicks and contests, is stepping up its patriotism with free burgers for citizens that do their civic duty.

All customers wearing an "I Voted" sticker while ordering will receive a hamburger or cheeseburger for free. Early voter? Don't worry. Anyone who says "ZVote" will also be able to participate.

This offer is only valid at the Tenleytown, Columbia Heights and Southwest D.C. locations.

UPDATE: As DCist points out, "rewarding people for their votes is illegal."
