When getting ready to vote this morning, our mental checklist went something like: valid driver's license, polling-location notice, oversize sunglasses and, of course, a camera to capture us making cheeky poses in the voting booth.
It looks like Mariah Carey had the same idea.
While fulfilling her civic duty today, Carey seized the opportunity to take a few glamour shots, which she shared via Twitter.
"Let your vote be heard!! Four more years!" she tweeted, expressing her hope for President Obama's re-election.
The president recently let his voice be heard, regarding his thoughts on Carey's reported feud with fellow "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj.
"I think they are going to be able to sort it out, I am confident," President Obama said in an interview with Miami's DJ Michael Yo.
He also revealed, "Mariah, she's done some events for us, I've gotten to know [her] and [husband] Nick [Cannon] and she's a wonderful lady," he explained. "Nicki, I don't know, but I've got her on my iPod."
