Peter Shumlin Election Results: Vermont Governor Projected Winner Of Gubernatorial Race

Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin (D) was projected the winner of his race by The Associated Press Tuesday evening.

Entering Election Day, polls showed Shumlin ahead of Republican challenger Randy Brock. The Democratic incumbent defeated Brian Dubie in the state's 2010 contest.
