South Carolina Election Results 2012: Presidential And House Winners (REAL-TIME MAP)

LOOK: South Carolina Election Results

This is where you'll find the South Carolina election results for the 2012 presidential election and the state's House contests.

Firmly a red state, South Carolina has voted Republican in nine of the past 10 elections, and polls leading up to Election Day suggested that 2012 would be no exception. The Palmetto State only voted Democrat in 1976, propelling Jimmy Carter, a southern governor, into the White House.

In 2008, John McCain won the state easily by over 150,000 votes (out of a little under 2 million total votes). Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham also handily won re-election during that election cycle.

This year, there are no Senate seats on the table, and the House races have not been particularly close.
