#OnlyinMiami: Election Day Twitter Highlights And Little Haiti Going Wild (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

#OnlyinMiami: Little Haiti Goes Ham

While the nation was dissecting President Obama's decisive win on Election Day, we were down here taking all of Florida on a trip on Miami Time -- or, in the case of Little Haiti above, dancing in the streets.

The social media universe was up in arms at the Sunshine State's indefinitely delayed Electoral College decision, thanks in large part to Miami-Dade still combing through 100,000 pages of ballots on Wednesday morning. In true Miami fashion, if the party starts at 8 p.m., we arrive the next day, even as tossup trendsetters like Virginia and Ohio went blue by 11 p.m.

As America's special case, it seems fitting we highlight the joys and travails of long lines -- up until 1 a.m. the day after voting! -- and the interesting characters who showed up throughout the Magic City to voice their choice on Election Day. Check out the best, worst, and craziest tweets from Tuesday with the hashtag "#OnlyinMiami":
