President Barack Obama cruised to reelection Wednesday night with the Latino vote playing a key role in his victory. According to exit polls, Obama won some 70 percent of the Latino vote, which inched up to 10 percent of the total electorate from 9 percent four years ago.
But Obama has work to do if the Democratic Party wants to retain its hold of the Hispanic vote. Along the campaign trail, the president promised to tackle difficult issues ranging from immigration reform to college affordability.
