'Sons Of Anarchy': Gemma Goes Back To Clay Despite Loving Nero (VIDEO)

Jax put his mother Gemma in an unenviable position on "Sons of Anarchy," telling her that if she wanted to repair her relationship with him and her grandchildren, she had to start seeing her abusive ex, Clay, again.

Gemma's always been a tough cookie, but considering she's currently dating the surprisingly sweet Nero, we wouldn't have blamed her for balking at the idea of going back to the arms of her former abuser just to spy on him for Jax.

But, since blood is thicker than water, especially on "SOA," Gemma ended up biting the bullet and returning to Clay -- though we're kind of impressed that she didn't end up definitively ending things with Nero either. Could a macho showdown be on the horizon?

Gemma's reunion with Clay was definitely hard to watch, and even more worrying is the fact that Jax didn't seem to give a damn ... Looks like things are going to get worse before they get better.
