There's no denying that 11-time NBA All-Star Dirk Nowitzki, who continues to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery, has some irreplaceable skills. However, it has been well documented that singing was never one of them.
Nevertheless, the Mavs gave Nowitzki a chance to showcase his vocal stylings during a recent segment of player karaoke that was uploaded to the team's official YouTube account. Though he admits that he isn't familiar with the lyrics, the 7-foot German does his best to sing Bruce Springsteen's "Born In The USA" while busting a few dance moves that might even make a young Courtney Cox swoon.
While his out-of-key rendition may lack -- well, actual words -- the former MVP certainly makes up for it with heart and soul in his performance. Still, maybe next time it would be best for everyone if he would just stick with the tambourine.
