Republicans Acknowledge Mistakes, Signal Willingness To Compromise (VIDEO)

Senators from deep red Oklahoma and Tennessee endorsing tax increases? Newt Gingrich admitting mistakes? Sean Hannity endorsing a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

Don't start singing "Kumbaya" yet, but in the aftermath of the GOP's electoral defeat on Nov. 6, several Republican leaders and commentators have signaled a more conciliatory approach to several upcoming legislative showdowns. Without explicitly endorsing ideological flexibility, legislators and conservative activists alike have acknowledged their growing problems with key constituencies, as well as a fresh willingness to moderate their stances on issues ranging from increased tax revenue to immigration reform and even Obamacare.
