'Partners' Canceled: CBS Pulls The Plug On Freshman Comedy

"Partners" has been canceled by CBS.

The previously scheduled episode of the sitcom starring Michael Urie, David Krumholtz, Sophia Bush and Brandon Routh will be replaced by a rerun of "Two and a Half Men," according to CBS.

"Partners," which aired on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET, premiered to an audience of 6.6 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Since then, the show has slipped to an audience of 5.5 million viewers and a 1.8 rating. On any other network those numbers would be considered a win, but not on ratings champ CBS.

CBS previously pulled the plug on "Made In Jersey" and will burn off the remaining episodes on Saturday, November 24.

Series co-stars Bush and Routh went to Twitter to express her feelings about the cancellation.

The network has "Rules of Engagement" and "Friend Me" in its pocket for midseason. CBS could not be reached for comment regarding the cancellation news.
