Even though being a princess isn't exactly a job (thanks for the heads up, Sonia Sotomayor), it definitely keeps a girl busy. And while we don't see the likes of Kate Middleton or Princess Charlene every day, royals can definitely pack quite a few activities -- and outfits -- into a small space of time. Yesterday, it was Charlene's turn to fulfill her official duties.
The first stop for the princess was the annual Red Cross charity ceremony. During the event, Charlene personally handed out gifts to elderly Monaco residents alongside husband Prince Albert II and Princess Stephanie. Always one to dress for the occasion, the former Olympian showed off her more buttoned-up style in a gray, textured sheath and nude pumps -- definitely something we could see the Duchess of Cambridge wearing (even though the dress was designed by Akris, Charlene's go-to designer).
But, alas, one event at a time is usually not in the cards for Charlene. Once she left the Red Cross Headquarters, the busy royal headed to honor Monégasque chef Alain Ducasse at a gala dinner for the 25th anniversary of his restaurant Le Louis XV. The 34-year-old transitioned into evening quite well, opting for a black peplum top with sheer detailing, matching tight black pants and a bold lip -- very Charlene, if we say so ourselves (and also designed by Akris, obvi).
So why such a jam-packed schedule of public outings? The royal couple is gearing up for Monaco National Day on Nov. 19. We're keeping our fingers crossed for yet another day of activities -- and outfits -- so stay tuned!
