Justin Bieber may soon be leaving his duet partner Nicki Minaj behind -- at least if Christina Aguilera has her way.
The singer and "The Voice" judge told Extra TV she is a big fan of the Biebs and is currently stuck on one song in his growing catalog of chart hits.
"I'm really into this song right now called, 'As Long as You Love Me' and it's Justin Bieber's song, so I'm actually looking forward to it," she said.
When asked if a collaboration is in the stars' futures, Aguilera said she is open to collaborating with Bieber and that "the possibilities are endless, so we'll see."
Both artists performed during Sunday's American Music Awards. Bieber hit the stage with Minaj for "Beauty and the Beat" while Aguilera performed several tracks from her new album, "Lotus."
Aguilera has faced a great deal of criticism recently for her fuller figure, talk that was reignited after she rocked a curve hugging gown on the red carpet and a pantless look -- complete with an embellished corset -- for her AMAs performance.
She has continued to challenge her weight critics, and fellow "The Voice" judge Adam Levine also came to her defense during a visit to "Ellen."
"It's a very basic thing. She should be left alone," said Levine. "No one should bother or hassle her about her weight or anything that she does or says. So, that's it. That's how I feel about it."
Bieber won three awards during the AMAs, including the honor for Artist of the Year.
Christina releases "Genie in the Bottle" at age 19. The song's lyrics of "My body's saying let's go... but my heart is saying no," and "rub me the right way" had some parents concerned that the song was encouraging teenage sex.
Christina "strips" herself of her pop soda image by undergoing some serious new hair and spray tan around the time she released 2002's album, "Stripped." She also begins to refer to herself as "Xtina."
Who can forget the singer's shocking chaps-and-not-much-else attire for the music video of "Dirrty," the lead single off "Stripped"?
Much ado was made about Britney Spears' snog with Madonna at the MTV Video Music Awards, but Christina Aguilera shared an onstage kiss too. The trio were performing "Like a Virgin" in tribute to Madonna.
Even singing greats can mess up time to time. Christina famously forgot the lyrics to the National Anthem, belting out "Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, what so proudly we watched at the twilight's last reaming." The song's proper lyrics are: "Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, o'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming."
Surely, Christina's had better hair days than this one, at Michael Jackson's tribute performance in October 2011.
The singer sounded gorgeous while singing a powerful rendition of "At Last" at the music legend's funeral in early January 2012. But what. was. that. dripping down her leg?
Christina's near-wardrobe malfunction while performing with her mentee Chris Mann was more distracting than it was encouraging on last spring's season of "The Voice."
