DIY Nail Art: Snoopy And Woodstock Thanksgiving Manicure (VIDEO)

One of my favorite Thanksgiving rituals (other than devouring slices of sweet potato pie) is curling up on the couch and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. While it's always a treat to see the featured musical performances, I find that I'm completely captivated by the ginormous floats that bob along next to the skyscrapers. So you can imagine how excited I was when I came across this manicure inspired by two of the annual parade's stars: Snoopy and Woodstock.

Robin Moses, a professional nail artist with 20 years of experience underneath her belt, demonstrates in the video above how to bring "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" to life through nail art. Moses starts by painting layers of chocolate brown, caramel and blue sparkle polishes on the square fingertips of a lucky lady. Then she uses a very fine point brush to draw on mini versions of Snoopy and Woodstock, complete with Pilgrim attire. And we love the way she talks us through this extensive tutorial with quirky sound effects, like "dot, dot, dot, dot" and "stroke, stroke" while she's maneuvering the brush.

What do you think about this Thanksgiving-inspired manicure? Would you wear cartoon characters on your nails? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section.
