Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, is also in the running for the world’s largest advertising circular.
The big box retailer has released its 45-page ad insert detailing its Black Friday deals on everything from iPads to bicycles. Walmart plans on opening its doors at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and will also offer deals online throughout the holiday.
The chain is facing push back from employees over its decision to kick off its Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving. Employees are also planning on striking at 1,000 stores nationwide on Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
But Walmart is no stranger to Black Friday drama. Last year, shoppers at a Walmart in Little Rock, Arkansas broke into a fight over $2 waffle makers. In Florence, Ala., cops were forced to use a stun gun to subdue an elderly customer who allegedly swung at a policer officer trying to calm him down.
