Lindsay Lohan Regrets Nothing: 'I Want To Be Known As An Actress, Not A Troubled Starlet'

Lindsay Lohan: 'I Regret Nothing'

She may have had a rough few years, but Lindsay Lohan regrets nothing.

The 26-year-old actress admits that although she was arrested, thrown in jail and criticized in court, she uses her pain to influence her career.

"I want to be known as an actress, not a troubled starlet," Lohan tells Us Weekly, revealing that she's ready for a true comeback. "People can think what they want, and the only thing I can do is prove them wrong."

The "Liz & Dick" actress has been through a lot of ups and downs over the past six years, dealing with legal woes as well as personal drama. But the former child star's five stints in rehab, six arrests and countless family fights have triggered something within her -- and she wants to be better.

"[I regret] nothing, because then I wouldn't have been able to cry in scenes at the drop of a hat," she explains, adding of her 20,274 minutes behind bars, "I have it tattooed: LIVE WITHOUT REGRETS. I'm not saying I wanted to go to a jail cell, but I've drawn from all of it."

Lindsay's Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick" premieres on Nov. 25 at 9 ET.
