'Intervention': Heroin Addict Freaks Out On A Plane

On "Intervention," Nick's story showed just how dangerous a heroin addiction can be. At only 23-years old, Nick has already been hospitalized a dozen times because of his heavy drug use. He even almost lost an arm to infection.

Things seemed to be looking up for him when he agreed to go off to treatment, but then he changed his mind and seemingly lost his mind. It all went down on the plane ride to the treatment facility.

"Nick acted out like a crazy person," the counselor said. "Screaming, yelling, hitting the windows, hitting the doors, profanities. That’s a federal charge."

He did agree a second time to seek treatment, and this time he made it to the center. But after a few months of sobriety, he relapsed Still, he says he is now sober.
