No stranger to making controversial statements about "Two and a Half Men," Charlie Sheen has weighed in on former co-star Angus T. Jones' so-called video "meltdown," which went viral after Jones called the show "filth" and urged fans to stop watching.

"With Angus's Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed," the "Anger Management" star said in a statement to People.

In the video, Jones admitted that he no longer wants to be part of the series. "I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it, please stop filling your head with filth," he said. “People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you, you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch on television. It's bad news."

The controversy comes a year-and-a-half after Sheen's own public meltdown, which involved a vitriolic rant against "Two and a Half Men" and creator Chuck Lorre, resulting in the termination of his contract and the hiring of Ashton Kutcher as a replacement.

Jones is not scheduled to appear in the remaining two episodes yet to film before the show breaks for its holiday hiatus, although sources told The Hollywood Reporter that his absence has nothing to do with the 19-year-old's comments. Jones' character Jake has joined the Army, so has not appeared in every episode of Season 10. According to TMZ and THR, the comedy's producers have yet to speak with Jones about the video.
