Kermit Performs With Cee Lo As Muppets Invade 'The Voice'

"The Voice" doesn't feel the need to fill their results shows with guest stars. When they do bring someone on, it usually means a fun shared performance with the contestants, or maybe even one of the coaches. This week, Cee Lo Green joined forces with Kermit the Frog as The Muppets took over "The Voice" studio.

The "Green" team performed Kermit's most famous song, "Bein' Green," while various Muppets looked on. Even the coaches had been replaced. Animal was sitting in for Adam Levine, while Janice subbed for Christina Aguilera. It was Fozzie the Bear who stood in for Blake Shelton, even using Shelton's signature finger pointing move.

The performance brought the house down, except for Statler and Waldorf, who predictably hated everything about it from up in the balcony.

It was a fun distraction on a night of high tension, as the competition eliminated two more contestants to reveal the Top 6. The stakes are higher than ever as "The Voice" continues on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
