Fur has long been the scourge of the fashion industry.
While PETA has been maligning fur-wearers for years, teal pelts dotted the fall runways and celebs like Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian have recently been open and unabashed about wearing fur that's decidedly NOT faux.
So is fur finally OK? Websites like Fur Is Green are actually arguing the idea that fur is a natural resource, "a true gift of nature" that we shouldn't feel bad about using. But others such as PETA's many celebrity spokesmodels say skinning animals remains a cruel and unnecessary practice, particularly in our eco-friendly day and age. And then there are those like Anna Wintour, who consistently ignore the debates entirely and wear fur as they please.
Watch our very own fashion editor Christina Anderson and others debate the fur issue on HuffPost Live, above. (It gets a little heated.) Where do you stand on the topic of fur in fashion?
