MCKINLEY PARK — A man who took a masseuse hostage Friday was "expecting something" more than just a massage, the building's manager said.

A young woman working at Archer Spa on in the 3100 block of South Archer Avenue was taken hostage by a client Friday about 7:30 p.m., building manager Stephen Tang said. The man allegedly demanded his money back when he realized he wasn't going to get any sexual favors from the woman.

"He was expecting something," said Tang, who was called in to translate for the police. "The girl refused."

The man was "disgruntled" when he entered the business, police said. He allegedly attempted to rob three women before taking a 40-year-old woman into a back room and sexually abusing her.
