The Kim Zolciak era came to a close on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" as she walked away from her friends, and the show that made her famous. The final straw came over a planned trip the women were going to take together with their significant others.
They'd accommodated Kim on the dates of the trip, but now that it was coming up, Kim was balking. Granted, she is pregnant and has legitimate concerns about traveling via plane to a remote locale. But the other ladies didn't like that they'd done so much to work around her schedule and now she was backing out.
Then she dropped the bomb that she'd planned a different trip with Kroy around the same time. That was enough to set the other ladies off and things got ugly fast. Kim then basically admitted that she no longer had the time or the interest in dealing with them any more.
She's not completely gone, though, as clips from next week's show show her getting into it with the film crew. But the writing is on the wall for Kim and "RHOA." Instead, she's getting her own spin-off show on Bravo.
