Shania Twain, 47, Stuns In A Jeweled Catsuit During First Concert In 8 Years (PHOTOS)

Shania Twain made her concert comeback yesterday, ending her eight-year hiatus to perform a sold out show in Las Vegas. The audience gave her a standing ovation as soon as she cruised onto the stage on a motorcycle. And, we have to say, she looked pretty stunning.

"Thank you. Thank you so much -- you guys are going to get me all emotional, and then my eyelashes are going to fall off," Shania said to the audience at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace.

That would have been a style crisis if anyone was even looking at her eyelashes, that is. The 47-year-old singer was rocking a Marc Bouwer jewel-encrusted catsuit. As in, the garment of choice for pop singers who want to make audience's jaws drop. Think: Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry's nude bodysuits.

We're going to go out on a limb here and say that the general consensus is that the Canadian-born country star looks amazing. Did we mention that she's 47 years old? There really is no hiding in these skin-colored, rhinestoned numbers, so well-played, Shania. (Ed. note: we were very tempted to make a "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" joke, but we just couldn't do that to you guys.)

Word to the wise: you have to be careful with these catsuits. They lend themselves well to the nip slip and their nude color can make you look a little... naked. That said, welcome back, Shania!

Please tell me I can look forward to Shania's new album in nearby future. Being a true country fan, Shania is one of the handfuls who strikes a balance between true country and pop, unlike other "ear-bleedin'" country pops.

-Beautiful lady...No doubt..She is in there with Jennifer Aniston and Rene Russo when it comes to gorgeous ladies who can rock it out in their 40's and beyond.....I think it is funny though that HuffPost thinks we wanted commentary or talking-heads with this article though...More annoying than informing..Who cares what these girls or the guy with the faux hawk thinks about Shania? All we were looking for were the pics...We can judge for ourselves whether Shania pulled it off. She did!!! >

These pics sure don't look STUNNING to me. Her body rocks..but her face looks puffy and her hair is all frumpy...and no makeup???? She used to be cute...now she's just coming back to apparently regain her fan base...to sell another album. She had some great tunes in her day..but she's no Jennifer Aniston. Pa-leeze.

I am a woman and I'd much rather see Shania at 47 or Faith Hill at 45 in whatever they wear looking this good than their complete opposite, Kim Kardashian, with her big butt and sheer clothes without any underwear! At the very least, Shania and Faith EARN a living that doesn't give them round heels!

I can pull them off but I feel like I'm going to a disco. I'm talking about the catsuits that are like a halter attached to the pants, and are one piece. Not a jeweled leotard. Who would do that.
