Cops On The Lookout For 'Applez' And 'Sauce'

Police in Flagstaff, Ariz., are searching for two men, known colloquially as "Applez" and "Sauce" for allegedly attacking a man Saturday morning with a machete and causing injuries to the victim's face, head, back and leg.

The victim told police that a prior confrontation had led the two men to attack him, according to AZFamily.com.

The attackers fled the scene, but authorities have identified the suspect known as "Applez" as Andrew James Jaurequi, 19, of Flagstaff, and said he was last seen driving a yellow four-door 1991 Cadillac. He reportedly has tattoos of apples on his neck and stomach.

The second suspect have not been positively identified but is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s between 5'10" to 6' tall. He reportedly goes by the name of "Sauce," and may be driving a blue 1990's four-door Cadillac, KPHO-TV reported.

Investigators told the Arizona Daily Sun that "Sauce" is reportedly "a big dope man from Phoenix" who may have returned to Flagstaff.

The two suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous and anyone with information on their location is asked to contact the Flagstaff Police Department.
