Truly hilarious shows are few and far between, but according to a poll, "Seinfeld" is the best sitcom ever.
In December's "60 Minutes"/"Vanity Fair" poll, viewers voted "Seinfeld" -- which followed the Manhattan misadventures of Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and George (Jason Alexander) for eight years -- as the best sitcom ever. "The Honeymooners" came in second with 23 percent, and 16 percent of voters favored "Friends."
The recognition of "Seinfeld" doesn't come as much of a surprise. The show's legacy continues on with "Seinfeld" creator Larry David's HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and Louis-Dreyfus also starring on the network's comedy "Veep."
Many of the actresses who played Jerry's girlfriends on the show have gone on to make big names for themselves both in film and TV. Click through our slideshow below to see where the actresses are now.
Kristin Bauer, Gillian
"True Blood's" Pam had "man hands."
Jane Leeves, Marla
Everybody remembers her as "the virgin." Jane Leeves' character, Marla, stuck around for two episodes, before leaving Jerry after finding out about the no masturbating contest.
Teri Hatcher, Sidra
Were they real? Fake? They were certainly spectacular.
Amanda Peet, Lanette
The waitress with a "dude" roommate, Lanette broke up with Jerry after he tasked George with sending out the invites to her birthday party, something George failed to do.
Paula Marshall, Sharon
Paula Marshall of "Cupid" and "Gary Unmarried" fame played Sharon, who interviewed Jerry and fell under the impression he was in a relationship with George -- not that there was anything wrong with that!
Anna Gunn, Amy
Long before she was dealing with her meth-selling husband on "Breaking Bad," Anna Gunn was one of Jerry's flavor of the week girlfriends. In "The Glasses," George thinks he sees Amy (Gunn) kissing Jerry's cousin.
Kristin Davis, Jenna
Before she was Charlotte on "Sex and the City," Kristin Davis was romancing Jerry. Their relationship fell apart after Jerry knocks Jenna's (Davis) toothbrush into the toilet and she uses it before he can tell her.
