Grab the Ben & Jerry's and chick flicks, ladies: we may have another breakup on our hands.
The New York Post reports that Cameron Diaz has ended her relationship with Rachel Zoe -- according to "sources," Diaz, one of Zoe's most famous clients, will no longer be working with the famous celebrity stylist. Nooooo.
The rumor is probably untrue, as a Diaz rep told E! News, "While she does not use one stylist exclusively, Rachel is a close, longtime friend and valued collaborator and they will work together on future projects." But it does underscore a lingering reality: Rachel Zoe's star might be slowly fading.
It's not all bad: Zoe recently sold sold a comedy to NBC based on her life and her reality TV show, "The Rachel Zoe Project," was picked up for a fifth season. But rumor has it that ratings for "The Rachel Zoe Project" have been falling and that her eponymous clothing line isn't selling as well as she'd hoped. The New York Post dished, "We hear the line isn’t doing well at stores including Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom," and the Daily Mail reported that upscale British department store Selfridges dropped the line entirely.
With all that in mind, we hope that Diaz breakup rumor is just that -- a rumor. Zoe could use a win these days... perhaps a gig dressing another awards show host?
