Jayne Mansfield was a major sex symbol throughout the 1950s and '60s. Known as an actress, nightclub entertainer, singer and one of the earliest Playboy Playmates, she was groomed to play similar characters to Marilyn Monroe. Not only was Mansfield a major player in Hollywood but she was also a devoted wife (three times, actually) and a mother of five (one of her daughters is the famous actress Mariska Hargitay). Although Mansfield died tragically in a car accident at the young age of 34, she managed to inspire a legion of fans through her diverse career and retro fashion looks.
In this 1950s photograph we see Mansfield posing at a photo shoot with perfectly coiffed blonde locks and bold lipstick. Even in a demure lace cardigan she manages to look extrememly sexy (and that's no easy task). Though we love her mascara-coated lashes, we can't help but fall completely in love with her full brows. We are cancelling our eyebrow waxing appointment immediately.
