Libya Attack Report Imminent, John Kerry Says

WASHINGTON -- Sen. John Kerry says Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has agreed to testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about an independent report on the deadly Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya.

In a letter Friday to the panel's members, Kerry indicated that the report from the accountability review board headed by retired diplomat Thomas Pickering is imminent. The Massachusetts Democrat and committee chairman says he's asked that Pickering and retired Adm. Mike Mullen appear before the committee before Clinton. Mullen, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is a member of the review board.

The attack on the consulate in Benghazi killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

Clinton has also agreed to testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

A plot of pure deception

With what should have been only a staged kidnapping of Ambassador J. Christian Stevens, instead, Navy Seals Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty refused a stand down order and began doing their job of protecting the ambassador using force. Immediately the well-trained Seals began inflicting heavy casualties upon the terrorists who thought they were merely in a cake walk to abduct Ambassador Stevens without mishap. As a result of the plan going awry, a massive attack arose from the anger of the terrorists who felt they had been betrayed by President Obama. In the aftermath of the battle which saw Navy Seal Glen Doherty was killed after the embassy had been overrun along with the ambassador’s staff. “There are people out there who have suggested that an overhead surveillance aircraft could have perfect visibility into what was happening on the ground, and on that basis alone, you could send in a team,” the official said. “That is not necessarily how things work.”

An overhead surveillance aircraft operating at night over a city can’t always help military members separate friend and foe on the ground, the official said.

“You get a lot of good information from a surveillance aircraft, … but it doesn’t necessarily provide you a complete and instant picture of what is happening on the ground. … If you’re going to undertake military action, you’d better have solid information before you decide to take the kinds of steps that are required to effectively complete a military mission of this sort,” the official told reporters.

The only weakening of our defenses appears to derive from the White House itself with the full approval of the President of the United States, who it seems deemed his reelection and and apparently the lives of those Seals - more important than the security of the United States.

Not suprisingly Obama FOUR MONTHS after the attack is still silent and still stonewalling.

Nice diversion try though, but sorry to tell you, Tom Donilon's going under oath and we will soon find out how all those dangerous natl security leaks (just like magic) last spring and in later 2011 were dropped all over town - which amazingly all made Obama look like Mr Commander and Chief, and just by coincidence this same theme became the central core theme of the Democratic Natl Convention.
