How did Trisha Yearwood get inspired to write a cookbook with her mom and sister? When Trisha met with me on Mondays With Marlo, she told me that she was originally approached to write an autobiography, but when she refused the idea, they offered to let her write about something else. Since she has always been passionate about cooking, Trisha got her mom and sister on board and worked with them to compile family recipes that have been passed down through the generations. Now that her mother has passed away, she is especially glad that they had this opportunity to work on the cookbooks together.
