This year there's something for every post 50 holiday music fan, from new spins on old classics by Rod Stewart and James Taylor to new tunes from Roberta Flack and Willie Nelson. Although John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John's holiday CD "This Christmas" has received lukewarm -- if not downright awful -- reviews, other releases, including "Holidays Rule," a compilation of songs from Paul McCartney and other artists, have been well received.
For example, on the heels of her debut album "AM/FM," actress and singer Rita Wilson has just released her first EP, "Christmas Card," which can be downloaded on iTunes. One reviewer called Wilson a "fabulous singer" who puts her personal spin on cherished classics, making them the perfect addition to the holiday season.
