National stalwarts like Kentucky and UCLA for example, have plummeted from the upper ranks of preseason polls out of the top 25, while potential upstarts like Oregon State and Nebraska are building upon early success. Or, is it once again the year of the mid-major? Gonzaga has its deepest team in six years and Creighton has two of the country's most efficient offensive players in Doug McDermott and Grant Gibbs.
