Dawn Wells, known to the world as Mary Ann from the famed sitcom "Gilligan's Island," stopped by HuffPost Live Tuesday to discuss her time on the show and to hit back at the National Enquirer for publishing a story last month that claimed Wells is "flat broke, smokes pot all day and is about to lose her home."
The 74-year-old actress told HuffPost Live that none of the Enquirer's allegations are true and that she's merely cutting back due to her age.
"I don't know how they get the articles. Does somebody sell something?" Wells told host Jacob Soboroff.
Wells went on to respond to each of the allegations in the story, weigh in on marijuana legalization, describe going up against Raquel Welch for the role of Mary Ann and talk about her new book, "Why Do We Love Mary Ann?"
