Denise Richards is lending a helping hand to Charlie Sheen's ex wife, Brooke Mueller, by caring for her twin boys while the socialite tries rehab for the 19th time.
Richards agreed to take in Mueller's twins Bob and Max, her 3-year-old sons with Sheen, as the 35-year-old enters rehab once again, TMZ reported. Sheen does not have time to care for the kids because he is shooting "Anger Management." So, Richards will keep them for "an indefinite period of time."
This is not the first time the twins have stayed with Richards, according to TMZ. They stayed with the "Wild Things" actress the last time Mueller went to rehab.
Richards, who split from Sheen in 2005, also has three daughters to care for -- Sam and Lola, Sheen's children, and Eloise, Richards' adopted daughter.
A lawyer for Mueller confirmed to E! News that Mueller has entered rehab for addiction issues related to Adderall use. It will be an ongoing treatment for her "prolonged addiction issues."
Mueller was hospitalized on Dec. 7, but her representatives initially denied reports of an overdose.
On Dec. 8, Mueller was greeted by the Los Angeles County Dept. of Children and Family Services, who showed up at her house to search for signs of drug use, TMZ reported. Officials also questioned the twins and checked for signs of physical abuse.
The only thing DCFS uncovered was an old cigarette butt on the floor of the master bathroom, according to TMZ.
Mueller underwent a 90-day treatment program earlier this year after she was charged for assaulting a woman in Colorado in 2011 and found with four grams of cocaine. Most recently, she sought treatment over the summer, according to the New York Daily News. She is currently on probation.
