12/12/12 was a special day for thousands, including Amar'e Stoudemire.

The New York Knicks star revealed on Twitter that he and longtime girlfriend Alexis Welch got married. Stoudemire sent a photo of his and his wife Alexis Welch's wedding rings to his 748,767 Twitter followers.

"I feel blessed," Stoudemire told People. According to the magazine, the the 30-year-old Stoudemire and Welch, who have been together for a decade, had a small ceremony on Wednesday with just 12 people on the roof of their home in Manhattan.

"They decided to do this because of the date, and they wanted to do something spiritual and private for themselves," a source told the New York Daily News.

Stoudemire hasn't played yet this season due to a knee injury. The Knicks haven't set a timetable for his return, per ESPNNewYork.com
