It's a officially the final stretch of the holiday season with the arrival of SantaCon 2012, the free holiday party that brings thousands of sloppy Santas out for a daytime pub crawl around San Francisco. In addition to the official event, Monarch hosts a seven-hour Dance-A-Thon Party for Santas who make their way out to SoMA. Renegade Craft Fair provides another opportunity to view local artists and artisan wares and Unsilent Night brings a sound sculpture composed of many individual parts to Dolores Park.
Thousands of drunken Santas take over the streets of San Francisco for daytime debauchery and one of the wildest annual holiday parties in the city. Saturday.
Monarch welcomes SantaCon Santas who want to bring the party indoors and boogie the afternoon away with DJs and Drinks. Duserock, Anthony James, Linden C. and Dutch are among the 10 DJs booked to perform. Saturday.
A renegade sound sculpture composed of many individual parts, recorded on cassettes, CDs and mp3s and played through a roving swarm of boomboxes, lands at Dolores Park. Saturday.
The 4th Annual Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Market brings more than 250 indie craft and DIY artisans to Concourse Exhibition Center to show off handmade goods and crafts. Saturday and Sunday.
