Note: This holiday season, in lieu of a traditional holiday gift guide, we'll be featuring a different LGBT organization each day for our "30 Days Of LGBT Giving." Check back tomorrow for a look at another incredible group that's working tirelessly on behalf of the LGBT community.

When it comes to fighting prejudice in all its forms, GroundSpark has been doing its part since 1978. The San Francisco-based company, which began as Women's Educational Media, creates visionary and thought-provoking films that address a multitude of social issues concerning housing and community development, the education system and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender stories, among other topics. GroundSpark believes in the power of mobilizing social progress through its films.

But beyond producing and distributing inspiring videos, GroundSpark also targets schools and focuses its efforts on educating youth through its notable program, "The Respect For All Project." The initiative is an educational program that provides youth and their teachers tools to engage in age-appropriate discussions on respecting human differences, preventing prejudice and fostering caring communities.

Be sure to watch GroundSpark's "That's a Family" clip above, which features an LGBT family. That's what the holidays are all about!
