Lady Gaga's 'You And I': Singer Records A Jazz Version Of Pop Hit

Good news for little monsters! Lady Gaga has released a jazz cover of her hit, "You and I."

The single was originally released in 2011, as a part of Gaga's "Born This Way" album. The soulful song was written by Gaga, and is reportedly inspired by her relationship with author and rocker Luc Carl. The singer recently rerecorded the track -- take a listen below.

Gaga tweeted a link to the song on Monday morning.

The singer has shown a recent interest in jazz, collaborating with industry great, Tony Bennett. Gaga and Bennett first teamed up last year to record "The Lady is a Tramp" for Bennett's "Duets II" album. Now the pair reportedly have plans to record a jazz album together.

"We're gonna do a jazz album with Marion Evans, a big swing band, and I'm looking forward to it because a lot of people don't know it, but she's a phenomenal jazz singer," Bennett told Rolling Stone.

Lady Gaga is currently recording her upcoming album, "Artpop," which is due out in 2013.
