Ryan Kraft, Adam Lanza's Former Babysitter, Remembers Introverted Boy (VIDEO)

The former babysitter of Newtown shooter Adam Lanza is coming forward with his own memories of the quiet, introverted boy.

In an interview with KCAL9, Hermosa Beach, Calif. resident Ryan Kraft remembers that he was instructed "to keep an eye on [Lanza] at all times…to never turn my back, not even to go to the bathroom."

Kraft was ten when his family moved to Newtown, Conn. and began attending Sandy Hook Elementary, the scene of last Friday's massacre that left six adults and 20 children dead. When Kraft was about 14 or 15, reports KCAL9, Nancy Lanza asked him if he would babysit her son, then nine years old.

“Whenever we were doing anything, like building Legos, or playing video games, he was always focused," remembered Kraft. "He was in his own world.”

Kraft has decided to start a fundraiser for the victims of the Sandy Hook elementary shooting, and has so far raised $73,796. The money will go toward counseling for survivors, funeral expenses and scholarships for Sandy Hook students. To donate, check out Kraft's Crowdrise page.
