Susan Lucci Style Evolution: She Was A Drama Queen On TV And On The Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

Think column dresses, cleavage and a lot of hairspray.

Susan Lucci ruled the small screen for 41 years as Erica Kane on "All My Children" and her style is as dramatic as the character she played. Throughout the '80s we watched her star rocket to fame. True to the decade, Lucci hit the red carpet baring lots of cleavage in plunging, body-conscious looks that showed off her lithe figure. The '90s saw the TV star in menswear-inspired jackets with strong shoulders, while her hair grew bigger and her skirt suits shrunk smaller and smaller. The Emmy-winning actress has a daring sense of style -- to this day, Lucci steps into the spotlight in slinky column gowns and metallic minidresses that go to show that this gal gets better with age.

To celebrate Lucci's 66th birthday (on Dec. 23rd) we are taking a look at the fierce star's best looks over the years.
