'Elf On The Shelf' Chats With Seth Meyers In Skit Cut From 'SNL' Weekend Update (VIDEO)

WATCH: 'Elf On The Shelf' Spills His Secrets

He's already been blogged about, publicly shamed and subjected to all manner of indignities (if these two little girls are to be believed) -- and now, the Elf on the Shelf is speaking up for himself. Or trying to.

Last weekend, the Elf -- as played by Bobby Moynihan -- gave "SNL" Weekend Update host Seth Meyers an earful during a dress rehearsal segment that was ultimately cut.

"I tell on people and I'm good at it," he bragged unapologetically, revealing amid shrieks of glee that he gets a 10 percent cut from "Santy Claus."

"The grownups are the worst. I mean, I've seen a man eat an entire gingerbread house piece by piece, by dipping it in nacho cheese sauce," Moynihan's Elf confessed, before revealing some choice secrets about celebrities. No word on his recent hijinks stealing coffee and raiding the LEGO box -- but then again, they've already been amply documented.
