This year's election signified a serious change in diversity as particular voting groups turned out in record numbers. Young people, African Americans and other minority voters flocked to the polls in record numbers, ultimately determining the makeup of both the executive and legislative branches of government.

But just how representative is the House of the country's diverse population? Although 2012 will go down in history as a groundbreaking milestone for women in Congress and Latino Congress members were elected in record numbers, is the House of Representatives truly an accurate reflection of the country's diversity?
