'Toddlers & Tiaras': Daughter Not Allowed Outside For Fear Her Skin Tone Will Darken (VIDEO)

'Toddlers & Tiaras': Daughter Not Allowed Outside

There have been some extreme mothers on "Toddlers & Tiaras," but the latest episode featured one that certainly got viewers on Twitter all riled up. Selena is a three-year old with what her mother described as a "natural, golden skin tone." Her mother was so in love with Selena's tone, she didn't want it to change.

So to ensure that tone stays exactly the way it is, Selena isn't allowed to go outside so she won't tan. The show even spotlighted footage of Selena with her nose pressed against the window, watching her brothers outside playing basketball.

"She has to stay inside. She follows the proper protocol," her mother said.

But Selena wasn't happy to be following those orders. "I really want to play outside. Like my brothers," she lamented.
