This past year was good to us; 2012 was a particularly excellent time period for food. We saw a continued obsession with Nutella (which we hope never fades), beautiful and trendy ombre cakes made a big splash, and pull-apart breads quickly became our favorite things ever.
We came across so many recipes we wanted to make (and eat) it was impossible to keep up -- and it would have been a bad idea to try. But we did make our way through A LOT of them and we had many favorites. With the year coming to an end, we had to give a shout-out to the shining stars we've loved this year.
Since there's still some time before the inevitable "eat healthy" New Year's resolution goes into effect, now's the time to get cooking -- and these are the recipes to do it with. Bon appetit!
