Jenny Slate Is Headed To 'Parks And Recreation' And More Casting News

Jenny Slate is on her way to Pawnee!

The former "Saturday Night Live" player will appear on an episode of "Parks and Recreation" as Jean-Ralphio's (Ben Schwartz) twin sister Mona Lisa.

According to EW, Tom (Aziz Ansari) hires Mona as a salesperson at his new business Rent-A-Swag. Unfortunately, she's not exactly the world's hardest worker.

Slate has also made appearances on "Ugly Americans," "Girls" and "Raising Hope."

In other casting news ...

Timothy Olyphant is lending his voice to "Archer." The "Justified" actor will voice a close friend of Sterling's (H. Jon Benjamin) with a big secret. [Examiner]

Arliss Howard is "True Blood"-bound. Howard is stepping into the series regular role of Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell in the upcoming season of the HBO series. [TVLine]

Ron Rifkin has joined the "Touch" cast. The "Alias" actor will play Isaac, a rabbi and "true believer in destiny" in the Kiefer Sutherland drama. [THR]

Stephen Root is headed to USA's new drama pilot. The "Boardwalk Empire" actor has joined the currently untitled pilot from "Numb3rs" creators Nicolas Falacci and Cheryl Heuton as Avery Boomer, a "savvy political power broker." [TVLine]
