In life, we're all dealt a hand.

For a chihuahua in Los Angeles, it was hand without front legs.

"Usually, when an animal is born like this, they put it down, but my wife, Danielle, and I adopted it," said Todd Ray, the owner of the two-legged walking chihuahua, whom his family has named "Pinky" after Pinky Tuscadero, a character on the 1970s sitcom, "Happy Days."

Ray believes all creatures are created for a reason so rather than euthanizing this unique animal as some might have, he chose to give her a loving home.

It hasn't been easy.

"She's still a little skittish around men," Ray admitted to The Huffington Post.

A two-legged chihuahua that walks on its hind legs is definitely unusual, but Pinky is just one of many strange animals owned by Ray, who, according to Guinness World Records, has the largest collection of two-headed animals in the world, many of which he displays at the Venice Beach Freakshow in Los Angeles.

Pinky is still just a family pet, but she could become a star in her own right, since Ray and his strange menagerie will soon be seen on "Freakshow," an AMC reality series debuting Feb. 14.
