Celebrity Deaths: 12 Post 50 Figures We'll Miss In 2013

In 2012, we lost some of the best and brightest among us. A few notable figures passed away young. Last February, the world was stunned by the death of pop superstar Whitney Houston at the age of 48. And, only a few weeks ago, Jenni Rivera, the Mexican-American singer and Grammy nominee, died in a plane crash at the age of 43.

We also lost many notable figures who'd enjoyed long lives and illustrious careers including Dave Brubeck, Herbert Lom and Phyllis Diller, among others, who all died over the age of 90.

We lost Larry Hagman, who was still acting in "Dallas" when he died in November. And we lost Neil Armstrong, who had been living a quiet life since retiring from NASA in 1971.
