Katt Williams Child Endangerment: Comedian Boasts, 'How Do You Keep Kids Safe Without Guns?' (VIDEO)

Katt Williams: 'How Do You Keep Kids Safe Without Guns?'

Katt Williams hasn't had the best year.

The comedian, 39, who has had multiple run-ins with authorities over the past few months -- including a parking violation, driving infraction, bar fight, hotel disturbance and gun violation -- was arrested yesterday morning (Dec. 28) on suspicion of felony child endangerment at his home in Los Angeles, Calif.

According to TMZ, Williams was jailed and his four kids were taken away after his Woodland Hills house was raided by cops, who found numerous guns and illegal drugs.

TMZ caught up with Williams following his release from the LAPD's Valley Jail in Van Nuys last night, where he boasted about gun control laws and his various brushes with the law.

When asked about his gun-related child endangerment charges, Williams boasted, "How do you keep kids safe without guns?"

"If the police come in and raid my place and break into my gun boxes, you're gonna find guns!" he added in the video. "I'm not in a gang, what difference does it make?"

Williams also said that his children were not around illegal drugs, explaining, "There was no drugs ... Weed is not a drug."

Authorities have placed Williams' kids in protective custody and reportedly, the case will go to court next week for possible felony child endangerment charges.
