Good eye. Very good eye.

A man flying a private airplane over his home spotted an alleged thief attempting to steal his property, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff's department.

David Zehntner made the shocking aerial discovery when he and his wife decided to swing by their LaBelle residence during a Sunday afternoon flight back to Florida, ABC News reports.

"My wife says, 'Honey, there's somebody at our house. There's a truck parked in our driveway,'" Zehntner told WPTV.

Zehntner called 911.

"He observed a silver truck with white camper in his driveway and lowered his altitude to get a closer look," authorities said in a statement. "He saw a man looking into the windows of his home then attach his red trailer and pull out of his driveway."

The couple pursued the suspect from their small aircraft and, not long after landing, learned that police arrested 59-year-old Gary Robert Haines, of Stafford.

Police found a loaded rifle and bullets inside of Haines’ 2002 Toyota Tundra truck, according to the sheriff's department.

Haines is charged with grand theft. He was placed in Charlotte County jail and released on Monday on $2,500 bond.

Zehntner is at least the second individual to pull off this amazing act of home security. In 2011, Arkansas man Steven Lynn spotted two alleged burglars during a small plane fly-over of his home.

Correction: A previous version of this story stated that the incident took place in Virginia.
