Between "The Hunger Games," "Twilight," Taylor Swift's "Red," Jelena, and of course, all things One Direction, 2012 was a pretty awesome year in pop culture. Although we're sad to see it come to an end, all the amazing things happening in the year ahead make us think that 2013 could be even better.

  • 'Catching Fire'

    Devoted "Hunger Games" fans have been awaiting the theatrical release of the trilogy's second installment, 'Catching Fire," with baited breath since the first film came out. The cast <a href="">finished filming </a>in Hawaii last month, but they still have a while to wait -- the film isn't scheduled to be released until November 22!

  • One Direction 3-D Movie

    One Direction fans have seen their favorite guys on TV, on YouTube, in concert, and now, they'll be able to watch the British boy band on the big screen in 3-D. Stay tuned for an awesome <a href="">concert movie</a> with backstage footage from their "Up All Night" tour.

  • 'Sam & Cat'

    We haven't been shy about stating all the many reason we can't wait for the new Nickelodeon sitcom "Sam & Cat" -- and why we thank Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) and Cat Valentine (Arianna Grande) <a href="">will be the cutest BFFs ever</a>. Although clips and detailed info about the show have yet to be released, we're banking on this one to be even better than "iCarly" and "Victorious."

  • Justin Bieber's Acoustic Album

    The Biebs is going back to his YouTube cover roots with the release of "Believe: Acoustic," which fans can check out when it drops on January 29. Justin tweeted an image of the <a href="">cover art</a> to get his fans pumped up for the impending release. If that wasn't enough to get you excited, <a href=""> is also reporting</a> that two bonus songs on the album are about Selena Gomez!

  • 'The Carrie Diaries'

    Starring "Soul Surfer" actress Annasophia Robb, The CW's new series <a href="">"The Carrie Diaries"</a> brings a teenage Carrie Bradshaw circa 1984 to live. Fashion-loving "Gossip Girl" fans will be able to get their style fix from the new show, which will feature the signature styling of GG <a href="">costume designer Eric Daman</a>.

  • Taylor Swift's 'Red' Tour

    If T-Swift's dynamic set at the 2012 Jingle Ball is any indication, the singer's upcoming "Red" tour is going to be her best concert series yet. Taylor will be headining 58 shows in 45 cities in 2013 -- with Ed Sheeran as her opening act! -- starting in Omaha, Nebraska on the 13th of March (of course). <a href="">Click here</a> for a list of cities and dates.

  • 'American Idol' Season 12
