Woman Sought In Diamond Ring Theft At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Security Checkpoint (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

To those with sticky fingers at airport checkpoints --- smile, you're on camera.

On December 9, a female traveler at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport realized she lost her diamond engagement and wedding rings at terminal 4's security.

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives reviewed surveillance footage and have released images of the woman they believe may have swiped the woman's jewelry from the ground before hiding it and playing dumb as the other woman frantically searched for her goods.

The suspect was reportedly dropped off at the airport in a red Toyota Rav4. She has long, dark hair and wore jeans with high-heeled, brown boots and a printed top the night of the suspected robbery.

Crime Stoppers are offering up to $1,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.

The same airport has seen such brazen crimes before.

In February, surveillance video showed a man pocket a nearby Rolex at security checkpoint.

And in May, a husband and wife team were arrested for stealing suitcase from the luggage carousel.
